Got a child who loves mermaids and reading? These diy, printable mermaid bookmarks are just the thing!
Those of you who are familiar with our monthly coloring pages know that children's book author and illustrator, Melanie Hope Greenberg, loves mermaids! Most of our June coloring pages are mermaid themed; our first was these adorable mermaid paper dolls.
Why do our June coloring pages feature mermaids? It's because the Coney Island Mermaid Day Parade, the iconic Brooklyn event featured in Greenberg's book, Mermaids on Parade, happens in June. Like the aforementioned mermaid dolls, as well as our summer solstice coloring page, these mermaid bookmarks are inspired by illustrations of the parade celebration from Greenberg's book. Look closely at bookmark number one and you will see the Coney Island roller coaster!
I'm delighted to add these super sweet mermaid bookmarks to our growing collection of printable bookmarks designed exclusively for us Melanie Hope Greenberg. (Note: this post contains affiliate links.)
