Kids never tire of playing with toy diggers. Offering them a new prop for their pretend play is an excellent way to boost their imaginative play. It also gives parents another tool to help keep the screens turned off!
This dig and scoop activity is one of my son's favorite ways to play with his digger.
What you need:
Large, deep tray such as a glass baking dish or plastic tub.
Dried beans. You can also use dried peas, rice or lentils.
Toy digger or other toy construction vehicles.
How to set up the activity:
There is only one step: fill the tray with beans!
That's all you need to do before your child will push you aside so they can get right to playing!
From personal experience, this bean tray for toy diggers is also one of my favorite ways to keep one sibling busy while trying to get the other to nap!
Happy digging!
