About the book:
Aunt Lilly's Laundromat written and illustrated by Melanie Hope Greenberg was originally published by Penguin in 1994. The book is now back in print as a paperback.
The book is a colorful celebration! A hardworking immigrant woman from Haiti owns a Brooklyn laundromat. She keeps her island traditions alive while living in a new neighborhood.
