This month's coloring page is very versatile. While I am calling it a Memorial Day Parade coloring page since the holiday in question is coming up at the end of the month, it can be used for any celebratory occasion! To turn it into a Memorial Day coloring extravaganza featuring a marching band and performers carrying flags, simple color in (or out of) the lines using a plethora of red, white and blue! Easy peasy.
Regular readers know that our monthly coloring page series comes to us exclusively from Brooklyn-based children's book author and illustrator, Melanie Hope Greenberg. Melanie has been creating these coloring sheets for What Do We Do All Day? for over six years and they range from activity sheets to coloring pages that turn into crafts to holiday pictures and more. They are all darling illustrations that your kids can use as anytime-anywhere boredom busters.
So get out the crayons, print out a few of these Memorial Day coloring pages for your kids this May and sit back and enjoy your coffee while they color away!

Activity idea:
Memorial Day is when the United States comes together to honor those who died in active military service. Service members, first responders and politicians walk in parades while we stand on the sidewalks waving our mini flags to remember those men and women. Your kids can color the pages and write special messages on the back to hand out to service members during the parade. Say thank you and bring a smile to someone's face!
We have so many coloring pages to choose from but when you are in a celebratory mood be sure to choose from one of the following:
- Children celebrating coloring page
- Circus parade coloring page
- Summer solstice celebration coloring page
- Peace celebration coloring page
- Party train coloring page
