We love cellophane. We've used it for window art, to learn about color mixing and in art projects and the leftover sheets were perfect for this craft project. My son loves these colored "glasses" we made. Now, he wanders around the apartment exclaiming, "everything is purple!" or "everything is green!"
Materials
You likely have everything you already need for this project, except perhaps for the cellophane. It's not expensive, but if you don't want to buy it, watch for products that may come pre-wrapped in colorful cellophane, like flower bouquets or gift baskets.
- Cardboard paper rolls
- Cellophane
- Rubber bands
- Scissors

Instructions
The instructions are so simple! I bet you can figure it out just from the photo, but here they are, just in case.
Step 1. Cut 2 squares of cellophane in different colors
Step 2. Place cellophane at one end of the cardboard roll and secure with a rubber band. Repeat on second roll.
Step 3. Have fun looking at the world with a new perspective!
Your child may want to swap out the original colors for new ones. Since the cellophane is not permanently affixed to the cardboard roll, that's easy! Simply slip off the rubber band and put on a new color!
