What you need for the perfect winter afternoon:
- A good book from this list of winter chapter books
- A cup of hot cocoa or apple cider
- Colored pencils or crayons
- Our winter bookmark printable (get it below)
What to do:
Download and print the coloring page (by clicking on the following link you agree to our terms of service; see end of post for details*): Snowy scene bookmarks
For extra durability, print out on card stock, but any paper will do!
Crack open the book and begin reading to your children.
Let the children color their bookmarks and drink their hot beverage while listening.
When you're done reading, cut out a bookmark and place it at your stopping spot.
Close the book and give your kids a hug!
