The Christmas coloring pages are divided into three types:
- Christmas scenes you would love to jump into!
- Activity Pages that keep kids busy!
- Ornaments to decorate for the season!
Christmas Scenes
Christmas carolers. Sing a little ditty, or put on a Christmas carol playlist while coloring in this festive scene of carolers and the gift of holiday treats. Both sides of the scene represent all that is cozy about the season. On one side is a lovely, snowy landscape with carolers spreading peace and good cheer. On the other side, the warm, cozy kitchen where holiday preparations are taking place.
Christmas kangaroos. I understand that some of you might be wondering, "What is the connection between kangaroos and Christmas?" It's whatever you want it to be! This fun, gift-giving coloring page can also double as a greeting card.
Sledding. Wheeee! Who doesn't want to race down the hillside at top speed? When the weather doesn't cooperate for some real-life sledding, then go ahead and make your own. Plus, the snowflakes can be cut out separately to turn into tree toppers, or stick puppets.
Skating Party - this is the coloring page that started it all. Greenberg's first contribution to this blog is a winter wonderland scene. The children are no doubt delighted to be spending the day outside instead of at a school desk!
Activity Pages
Make a Christmas village. Four village shops from the book, Aunt Lilly's Laundromat, will look adorable under the tree or on a table-top landscape. Or, add them to your child's train tracks set-up! Color the shops, cut out the template and fold into 3D buildings for some wonderful pretend play. And don't forget to read the book!
Decorate a tree coloring page. This illustration sheet features boxes of ornaments that kids can color, cut out and use to decorate a tree!
Make a darling gingerbread house and four gingerbread people finger puppets. This play set is perfect for pretend play and can be added to the Christmas village shops!
Our reindeer pattern coloring page features ten tiny reindeer, plenty to pull Santa's sleigh! Turn all those reindeer into stick puppets for a little pretend play at Christmas.
Ornament Coloring Pages
Interfaith ornament. Do you have an interfaith household, or want to teach your children to be inclusive of all faiths? This ornament coloring page featuring symbols from Christmas and Hanukkah, as well as the dove of peace, is just the thing!
Dove ornament. Sure, you could use this cute illustration to make just one ornament. But what you'll actually want to do is print out multiple copies of this precious double dove ornament coloring page, color, cut out and string them up into a garland!
Celestial ornaments. Create a dreamy Christmas tree by festooning it with stars and moons! Maybe the night sky theme will even help your kids finally fall asleep on Christmas Eve. Dare to dream.
Happy coloring!
