Oh, school pictures. We all have at least one that makes us say, "Look at my hair!" This month's coloring page from Melanie Hope Greenberg will help you re-frame (get it?) your kids' adorable school pictures so that they, too, can one day look back and say, "I was such a dork!"
How to Make the Frames
The instructions and materials are basic and this is a project that you can do with your kids without much prep time.

Scissors
Coloring pencils, crayons or markers
Delightful school portraits (bad hair optional)
Tape
Instructions
Print out the coloring page frames on card stock.
Before cutting out the frames, kids can color them in to their hearts desire.
When the coloring is completed, carefully cut out both frames. If the school portrait is larger than the inner frame, cut the inner frame portion. If the photo is smaller, leave frame intact.
Using the tape carefully tap the portrait to the frame. If the school portrait is larger than the inner frame, you will attach the photo from behind so your child's smiling face peeks out. If the photo is smaller, tape it directly to the middle of the frame for a delightful mise en scène.
Finally, Then give them away to grandparents, aunties and uncles, cousins and neighbors. Don't forget the postal worker, plumber and school crossing guard! Hey, you usually have way more school pictures than you need, right?
