Another family favorite Jack Prelutsky poem that any adult would love to hear recited as a gift is “Don’t Ever Seize a Weasel by the Tail”. Our then-first grader recited “Eletelephony” at the school talent show.It was awesome.

Dear Erica -- What a wonderful service to humanity. I am a 71-yr-old retired Canadian high school English teacher, with a love of children's literature, and literature and the arts generally. When I started teaching long ago, the motto was: "The Arts, the Soul of Education". Unfortunately, that has changed to a predominantly business model of education.
