As an in between stage our driveway was FULL of rocks of all sizes. We packed a grocery bag full and headed to the local creek. Such fun! One of my must enduring kid memories is of a time we went on a picnic and found a stream (river?) to throw rocks in. In the middle of the river was an open toilet seat. I didn't think about how it shouldn't be there; my siblings and I just noticed it was the perfect target for our rocks. Kept us busy a looong time, and I'm sure my mom just sat and watched. 🙂
