A joke? A cute animal? It was "window-shopping" for inspiration!

My Jr. (a teen now!) used to love to make cards, and still enjoys using fountain pens and special markers. Have y'all been to Kinokuniya, the Japanese bookstore near Bryant Park? The basement level is chock FULL of great writing supplies--and paper for origami, if your kiddos are interested.

I read some tips and tried to set up a letter writing station with envelopes, paper, etc., It worked... for the first 2 letters and now we are back to bribing.
