We started with drawing 6 different drawings that would go like this:
1 2 3 4 5 6 6 5 4 3 2 1
2 3 4 5 6 1 1 6 5 4 3 2
3 4 5 6 1 2 2 1 6 5 4 3
4 5 6 1 2 3 3 2 1 6 5 4
5 6 1 2 3 4 4 3 2 1 6 5
6 1 2 3 4 5 5 4 3 2 1 6
Then you would flip it where it would be like a mirror image.

Thanks for this great list...most of these were new to me.

Hands down, if you want an activity book, I would go with "This Is Not A Math Book." It is available at Amazon, but since it is an Usborne book I bought it from my friend Jodie, who runs the blog Growing Book by Book and is also an Usborne rep. (it was also less expensive) You can find it here: http://f4765.myubam.com/

I refer my homeschool friends to it, especially. I am excited to read Math at the Art Museum with my kids. I love combining two subjects at once. We've read Seeing Symmetry as your recommendation. We liked that one too! Thanks for sharing our resources!
P.S I also found It's Not a Math book here: http://www.Lisasbookshop.com
