There is also an animated movie about selkies called Song of the Sea. I haven't seen it but I understand it is good.

I was just looking up some of March’s books from our local library and I even looked up the movie ‘The Secret of Roan Inish’ that you recommend. But there appear to be 2 versions made, 6 years apart from each other. Any idea which one you’ve seen and recommend?
