I do! I just added the form to get it -- at the bottom of the post. Happy reading.

My son loves maps, and I would love it if you could add a list of books for kids who love maps. Lots of lists only include non-fiction titles, but I'm more interested in fiction titles (e.g., Tuesdays at the Castle where the main character draws a map which is an important part of the story). Thanks!

Even though I keep reporting them, they never go away. I would love to share your site, but with all the ad content, I cannot. Any remedy to this?

I absolutely LOVE your recommendations and have encouraged friends to reference your website often. In fact I have spent the last 2 hours scouring your site building up my list of books to purchase for my 10 year old whom we call the shredder as he devours books like most kids devour ice cream. Anyhow, back to The Inquisitor's Tale. I attempted to read it to my boys and called it quits at the horrendously gory part early on in the book. I was honestly shocked that a children's book would have such violence and graphic descriptions. To my mind this is absolutely not a book for kids under grade 8.

John, Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I'm sorry your daughter was disturbed by the book. I appreciate your input.

She loves adventure books like Geronimo Stilton, but her teacher said we should encourage her to try more genres. Some of the adventure books on this page interested her, so we checked some out from the library. The first one she finished is The Inquisitor's Tale. Early on she had a bad dream about it, but she did not want to talk about it and she said she still liked the book and wanted to keep reading (she doesn't like reading aloud together or us parents reading to her - she likes reading by herself). Anyway, she finished it and said it was good. It intrigued me, too, so I started reading it and pretty quickly came to the part that I think led to her bad dream. I was quite surprised at the violence and gore. More Googling around today I find the book is recommended for Gr.5-10 (Age 10-14). I also found it on another list on this site - for 8th graders. All this to say 2 things: 1. I will be doing a better/more thorough job of researching new books before suggesting them; and 2. Would you please include grade/age ranges for the books on pages like this one (Adventure Books for Kids)? I know "kids" is a large range and I know my job as a parent is to check more thoroughly, but I felt a little misled on this one. Thanks for reading.
