Passive-aggressive for no reason, eh?
did the book suggestions offend you in some way?

Very strange indeed. I can't imagine how I would ever have come up with the criteria. LOL.

EXCELLENT book with both bunnies, wolves, and fighting. My kids BEGGED for more chapters. There are three books in the series.
I would highly recommend it!!

Muria, Watership Down is a violent book--but no more so than Warriors. The difference is the writing; it's a better book in that it is deeper and more immersive than the action-packed Warriors. Thus, the action seems to have higher, more emotional stakes than the simple good/bad dynamic in Warriors. My argument would be that only students ready to immerse themselves in that world should read it; kids get bored with it when they think it will be all battles.

Let me add to this list Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland. Dragons! When my son burned out on Warriors (around the sixth series) he discovered this one.

And, if you want to go in the opposite age direction, Beast Quest got my kid to read when he wouldn't back in second grade. It's as formulaic as any early chapter book, but each book has a new "beast" and a danger that goes with it.

I thought that might be useful for a parent who doesn't know. Watership Down, in my opinion, is for older children (or maybe I was just squeamish in middle school, but I thought the cover with the bunny in a field was misleading).

I'm afraid I don't have auto-print friendly lists.
