Hello, I’m after some recommendations. My daughter is 6, reading age probably 7-8.. she wants to read chapter books but can be overwhelmed by the lack of pictures. So I’m looking for chapter books with some illlustrations in them, preferably in colour. So far we have found the Isadora Moon books with a few illustrations and the pink glitter and she loves her Pippi Longstocking book with coloured illustrations. We’ve also got a few E.R Reilly such as Rashnu and Tall tales. At a similar age my son got in to captain underpants loving the illustrations and he still loves them now aged 9 for a quick, easy read but my daughter isn’t interested
