Thank you! Sadly l still feel a bit stymied as l'm looking for something for my neighbour's 8yr old son whom l'm trying to help on the reading front. His parents are Sri Lankan and he spoke only Tamil til he was 4 and went to nursery school. Covid had intervened too and he watched so much TV he now has a slight American accent(!) I'm just trying to find stories with characters with whom he can identify (Sri Lankan, Tamil, Hindu). Am l asking too much?
