Unless you say “there’s an idea that this is weird, but what do you think?”. More often than not, kids are pretty plain to see that “weird” is an age-acquired opinion.

My mother read me a couple of books that showed our situation. I hated it. I thought it weird to make a big deal about it. Just act normal and the kids will be fine. Put a spotlight on it and they know then that it's weird.

There is also And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson, but that is already on the best seller lists anyway. I enjoy how the books on this blog are not usually on best seller lists.
