Another book resource that encourages kindness in the classroom is FOR NO REASON, available in many libraries, book stores and from the website https://www.skippingstonepress.net. This beautifully-illustrated picture book tells the tale of Jamie Higgins who comes up with a clever way to deal with a classroom bully, Brad Lugsley, without being mean or getting into trouble. At the end of the story, there are many fun, creative and educational activities to get children thinking about their own experiences and how they might handle a bullying situation in a positive way.
